Lip augmentation is otherwise known as lip enhancement, lip fillers or lip injections and used to permanently or temporarily improve the shape and size of the lips. How long do Lip Fillers last?
Fillers usually last between 5 months to two years.
When will I be able to see the results?
You will see an immediate result with filler. At first the area will be swollen and red. It will take approximately 14 days for you to see the final results.
What are the risks?
The risks of lip augmentation are minimal, but they do exist. Some short-term side effects that you may experience in the first few days include bruising, swelling, and redness. On rare occasions, as with any injection, infection may occur. Very rare effects include an occlusion within a blood vessel and allergic reactions. You will be educated in signs and symptoms on the day and your practioner is trained to assist you if such event may occur. Ice is applied
Will it be painful?
The filler that we use contains a local anaesthetic. After the first few injections the area becomes numb. We may also apply a numbing cream to the area before the procedure to make you as comfortable as possible
